The Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented

Architectural Designer

to join our expanding team. This is a key technical role, suited to someone who thrives on producing full drawing packages used directly for fabrication and site installation. While experience in marine projects is preferred, we are equally open to designers from high-spec commercial interiors, modular build, or specialist joinery backgrounds with transferable skills.

Key Responsibilities

Produce accurate, detailed drawing packs for marine interior fit-outs, including GA drawings, fabrication details, elevations, and sections. Work closely with project managers, site teams, and workshop staff to ensure drawings meet both design intent and installation practicality. Contribute to design development from concept through to construction phase. Amend and issue construction and as-built drawing sets in line with client comments and redline mark-ups. Attend site surveys and ship visits as required. Ensure drawings are produced in line with company CAD standards and relevant regulations.
Candidate Requirements

HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Architecture, or similar. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit or 3D modelling tools are desirable. Demonstrable experience producing full technical drawing packs for interiors, joinery, or fit-out projects. Good understanding of construction methods and sequencing, with the ability to work from sketches or technical mark-ups. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to issuing and managing revisions. Experience in marine projects is beneficial but not essential--support will be provided to understand sector specifics. Confident communicator, able to liaise with in-house and external teams across design, manufacture, and delivery. Happy to Travel
