We are recruiting for an Architectural Designer/Architect PART 2/3 / Technician to join our growing Planning and Design team based in Exeter, as part of our wider Professional Services department spanning the South West.

Our work covers a wide range of projects, with a specialisation in small to medium developments and bespoke residential projects in rural areas.

The ideal candidate will be looking for a new challenge supporting the established design department, be able to work supporting colleagues as part of a team but also be able to take responsibility for their own workload as required and be comfortable working in a wider multi-disciplinary team. The right candidate will have a desire to grow their professional skills, be motivated and organised, have effective communication skills and have 3-5 years post-graduation experience in a UK based office, have experience of developing 2D drawings and 3D models and have their own means of transport.

Responsibilities include; working under the direction from more experienced colleagues, contributing to team design discussions, undertaking on-site surveys and preparation of survey drawings, drawing and sketching design solutions and developing schemes using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate would also have experience using SketchUp modelling software and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop for 3D visual presentation purposes.

Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
