The Role:
You will work closely with our team based in Bedford town centre, producing and coordinating drawing packs, schedules and technical information from initial concept phases through to completion for all project stages. Your role will also involve collaborating with clients and contractors as part of a wider design team to deliver highly functional and aesthetic schemes.
Responsibilities:
Managing, producing and coordinating architectural drawing packages and detailed design information.
Conducting site visits and surveys before and during construction.
Liaising with clients, contractors and the wider design team.
Compliance - ensuring that all works are carried out to the relevant standards, Building Regulations, Planning and other appropriate legislation.
Working within budgets and timelines.
Keeping up to date with legislation and standards within the industry.
Requirements:
Degree or Higher in Architecture or Architectural Technology or equivalent professional experience with a minimum 5 years proven working experience in an Architectural practice in a UK, commercial setting.
Experience of high end residential projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is essential with excellent technical drawing and presentation skills.
A working knowledge of SketchUp and Lumien would be beneficial.
Demonstrable up to date knowledge of building products and construction details.
Excelent technical knowledge and in depth understanding of current, relevant Building Regulations, British standards, and other relevant legislation.
Strong organisation, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
An ability to liaise with clients and contractors effectively and without supervision.
Self-driven and disciplined with excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Creative thinking and problem solving ability.
Strong command of written and spoken English to effectively convey ideas and concepts verbally and visually
Salary dependent on experience.
20 days annual leave per annum.

Pay: 30,000.00-32,000.00 per year
