Overview

Based in Newport, South Wales, we are a Professional Architectural Practice seeking an Up-and-coming Architectural Technician/Technologist to join our team. You'll lead design and technical packages across all RIBA stages on high-quality residential and mixed-use projects. Duties

Deliver and manage technical packages from concept to completion Work alongside Associates and team members to develop coordinated designs Lead detailing, specification, and technical development on live projects Engage with consultants and contractors, and confidently lead aspects of the design process Contribute to project visuals, 3D models, and presentation material Take ownership of workflow and deadlines across multiple project stages Assist with site visits and respond to technical queries during construction phases.

Requirements

Experience in UK residential and mixed-use developments essential Strong understanding of RIBA stages Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing and technical standards. Use AutoCAD and/or Revit to create accurate technical models and documentation. Strong detailing, technical design, and project coordination skills Excellent communication and collaboration with consultants and contractors Passionate about quality design, delivery, and the built environment Must have the right to work in the UK
