About the Role:AM Constructions Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Engineer to oversee and manage the execution of a range of residential construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with design specifications, budgets, and schedules while upholding safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Supervise construction projects from design to completion.Ensure projects adhere to architectural specifications, budgets, and timelines.Collaborate with architects, clients, contractors, and council representatives.Coordinate site activities and resolve on-site challenges.Prepare architectural and interior design drawings and concepts.Develop cost estimates and ensure efficient resource allocation.Understand industry-standard costs for homebuilding materials and finishes. Utilise design software such as SketchUp and CAD for project development.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:Proven experience working with UK borough councils for planning approvals.Previous experience with UK-based home developers.Strong skills in preparing architectural and interior design documentation.Familiarity with the preparation of initial design concepts.Excellent understanding of UK homebuilding materials, finishes, and workmanship standards.Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.

To be capable of providing technical design support to project teams and be able to deliver successful projects in accordance with client requirements.

Ability to organise and co ordinate design teams and sub contractors.

Capable of managing and supervising technical project teas, together with client and contractor liaison.

Full UK driving licence.UK qualification in Architecture or Planning (preferred).Pre-employment Requirements:Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal record check.
