Job Description

Alecto Recruitment is presenting an exciting opportunity for a Regional/Area Manager within the Anaerobic Digestion sector, responsible for overseeing multiple sites across the UK. This role involves managing the operations of anaerobic digestion facilities within the East Anglia region, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency across all locations.
Package:
60,000 - 70,000 Per annum
Car Allowance
Monday to Friday
25 Days leave + Bank Holidays
Responsibilities:
Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and health and safety standards.
Overseeing the daily operations of the anaerobic digestion facilities, including managing staff, overseeing rotas, and coordinating maintenance and repair activities.
Developing and implementing strategies to optimize production efficiency, maximize revenue, and minimize costs.
Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination across the organization.
Monitoring and analysing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address any issues.
Ensuring that all facilities are properly maintained, including conducting regular inspections, identifying potential maintenance needs, and coordinating repairs as necessary.
Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and community groups.
Managing budgets and financial performance, including forecasting revenue and expenses, analysing financial data, and developing strategies to improve profitability.
Developing and implementing training programs to ensure that all staff members are properly trained on safety procedures, operational protocols, and other relevant topics.
Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in managing end to end process/production processes in Anaerobic Digestion or a similar process environment.
Must be able to manage multiple improvement projects utilising strong planning and organisational skills
Demonstrable understanding of process engineering/technology.
Able to work within the scope of business management, safety and compliance management systems and input to the continuous development of these systems.
"Hands on" rather than theoretical approach.
Demonstrably commercially astute.
Background in engineering would be advantageous.
Full clean driving licence.
WAMITAB (desirable).
