The Role-

The Area Manager (Bristol) is the key operational leader responsible for the smooth and successful day-to-day running of all uSports x uKids services within the Bristol area. You will ensure high standards of service delivery, operational efficiency, and team support.

Key Responsibilities-

Operational Leadership & Delivery

Day-to-Day Oversight: Ensure the consistent and smooth running of all uSports & uKids sessions and contracts within the designated Bristol area. Logistics & Equipment: Oversee local operational logistics, including ensuring all coaches have the correct, quality equipment available for their sessions at all times. Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to assess the quality of coaching, adherence to safety standards, and overall service delivery. Coach Management: Directly manage, mentor, and motivate all coaches and staff working on uSports x uKids contracts in Bristol, fostering a positive and professional working environment. Recruitment Liaison: Work closely with the uGroup Recruitment Team to identify staffing needs, conduct local in-person interviews, and support the smooth onboarding of new hires. Embed the uGroup core values throughout the team. This is important when conducting practical interviews and Grade reviews on the coaches to make sure they are aligned with company expectations.

Commercial & Strategic Collaboration-

Sales Support: Work alongside the uGroup sales team to increase the number of schools/ nursery sessions we operate in. This will include the services of uSports x uKids, extending our sports coaching delivery (uSports) and our premium wraparound childcare services we can offer to local Primary Schools within the area (uKids). Client Relations: Maintain strong professional relationships with key clients, including Headteachers and school staff, acting as the primary point of contact for operational queries for any uSports & uKids. Reporting: Provide regular, accurate operational reports and feedback to the Core Area management team regarding area performance, challenges, and local opportunities.

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year

Experience:

Sports coaching/childcare : 3 years (preferred)
