Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Manager to oversee elederly care homes operations within our designated location in Wakefield and York. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading teams, ensuring operational excellence, and driving business growth. Duties

Lead and supervise multiple teams across various departments to ensure high performance and productivity. Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organisational goals. Monitor daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations. Provide coaching, training, and support to team members to foster professional development. Analyse performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management. Manage resource allocation effectively to optimise efficiency. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, motivation, and continuous improvement. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain strong professional relationships.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a management or leadership role. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Level 5 for CQC registered manager or Relevant management qualifications or equivalent experience is preferred. A proactive approach with problem-solving capabilities.
