Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee the operational delivery of security guarding services across multiple client sites. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in security operations and a proven track record in area management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support a team of site supervisors and security officers across multiple locations. Conduct regular site visits to ensure service quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and contract retention. Recruit, train, and develop staff in line with company and SIA standards. Monitor KPIs, prepare operational reports, and implement service improvements. Ensure compliance with health & safety, legal, and company policies. Support business development and contribute to operational planning.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Area Manager in the Security Guarding sector. Proven management experience in a multi-site security environment. Valid SIA licence. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel. Proficiency in reporting, rostering, and scheduling systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Desirable:

Experience in corporate, retail, or event security. Familiarity with British Standards and the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme.
