About the Role

Our QA Operative will be part of our Technical Team and will be working in all areas of the factory as required, walking the factory floor to identify any issues ahead of them arising and taking appropriate action and dealing with issues as and when required.

We are looking for two suitable candidates for this position.

Monday to Friday 16:15 - 02:15 (47.5 Hours)

Key Responsibilities:

Routine Food Safety, Legality and Quality checks on raw materials, WIP and finished products. Managing corrective actions - making sure corrective actions are completed within appropriate timescales and that the relevant documents have been completed e.g., hold log, non-conformance log and reporting any complex issues to line manager. Hygiene audits, environmental swabbing and micro sampling product. Verifying finished product label information and managing on the online label verifier, including reel changes and troubleshooting. Develop in-depth knowledge of automatic labeller and verifier machine. Formal GMP and process control document completion.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Self- motivated and able to work on own initiative. Flexibility with working hours as overtime may be required. Ideally have experience of working within a fast- paced food manufacturing environment. A good level of both written and verbal English. Ideally have Level 2 Food Hygiene/Safety certification. Own transport (due to rural location)

Desirable:

Previous experience in a food production or factory environment.
