WHERE IS THE ROLE LOCATED? A1 corridor Newcastle to Doncaster

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? Responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned territory, you will focus both on managing existing accounts and developing new business. Home-based, you will be joining a dynamic team of sales professionals and will be responsible for managing your own schedule, generating and responding to enquiries and stimulating business activities through demonstrations, exhibitions and working events etc.

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?

  • You\'ll be target driven and have well-proven selling skills within the capital equipment sector, demonstrating a proactive approach to finding business, and tenacity in converting enquiries in to orders
  • A confident and articulate communicator, you are comfortable with presentations to potential customers and possess a well-developed range of interpersonal and relationship building skills as well as strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Practical experience of demonstrating complex machinery is required, and you possess good all-round hands-on experience
  • You can demonstrate strong engagement with a range of customer profiles ideally including local authorities, utilities, contractors, owner-operators
  • You\'ll be experienced in managing your own schedule and appointments with good all-round planning skills, and your IT literacy will be of a good standard, including MS Office and CRM
  • Highly motivated, you take a structured approach to your sales activities, with the drive and determination to secure existing business and grow new sales, managing your time effectively across a productive sales territory
  • Residing along the A1 corridor between Newcastle and Doncaster, you enjoy regular travel and are prepared for occasional nights away from home, and you possess a clean driving licence
