The Role



We are seeking an ambitious

Area Sales Manager (ASM)

to join our team and drive growth across Ireland. This is a remote role with travel across your territory, where you'll take ownership of developing new business, strengthening existing customer relationships, and driving sales performance.

The ASM will play a vital role in securing end-user product approvals, building distributor relationships, and ensuring Supertouch continues to be the go-to brand for quality PPE and workwear solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven sales success in the protective workwear or PPE industry who thrives on developing business, enjoys autonomy, and wants to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities



Drive Growth:

Manage and grow an existing customer base, while identifying new opportunities in underrepresented vertical markets.

End-User Engagement:

Adopt a consultative sales approach to secure product approvals and drive back-sell through distributor networks.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement sales strategies that align with Supertouch's growth objectives.

Market Awareness:

Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, feeding market intelligence back to the wider business.

Proposal Development:

Prepare tailored proposals and presentations that highlight Supertouch's value proposition.

Networking:

Represent Supertouch at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the internal sales and marketing teams to maximise coverage and capitalise on new opportunities.

CRM & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, produce forecasts, and deliver regular pipeline and performance reports.

Compliance:

Ensure all activities adhere to company quality, health & safety, and environmental standards.

What We're Looking For



Experience:

3+ years in sales/business development, ideally in PPE, protective workwear, or a related sector.

Track Record:

Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets.

Industry Knowledge:

Strong understanding of the PPE/workwear market and distributor/end-user dynamics.

Skills:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Mindset:

A proactive, self-starter who can work independently but thrives in a team environment.

Organisation:

Strong time management and CRM skills.

Other:

Full clean driver's licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.
