Job Purpose
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting the pre-determined Revenue and activity in respect of Company sales and activity goals for their assigned geographical area.
Key skills & Duties:
Achieve revenue and activity targets for the assigned area
Forecast and grow customer account activity and revenue; analysing market trends, customer behaviour, historical data to project future revenue growth and develop strategies to increase customer account activity and revenue
Source and onboard new customer accounts; actively seeking out potential customers
Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact
Act as first line problem resolution, handle any issues or concerns, raised by clients
Visiting customers and sites to support customer relationships
Agree and build pricing schedules with the Managing Director/ Operations Director
Expand business opportunities with existing key account customers
Develop new business with a broad spectrum of customers
Ensure accurate system and process compliance (quotes, orders, CRM activity etc.)
Support marketing and social media engagement
Attend networking, trade and industry events, participate in network events, trade shows and industry conferences to represent the company, build connections and explore potential business opportunities.
Provide customers with product demonstrations; conduct product demonstrations to potential and existing customers, showcasing the features and benefits and value of the company's offering.
Undertake site surveys where required
Qualifications & Experience
+ Hire Industry experience or construction
+ Previous experience of a sales position with proven track record
+ Proven track record in achieving revenue targets and driving business growth
+ Excellent account management and client relationship-building skills
+ Familiarity with sales systems and processes, including quoting, order management and CRM tools
+ Experience in supporting marketing initiatives and participating in industry events
+ Driving license
