Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Power Tool Accessories

Area to be covered: Northern Ireland

Remuneration: \xc2\xa335,000 + up to 20% bonus

Benefits: \xc2\xa3400 Car Allowance & Benefits Package

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Power Tool Accessories will involve:

• Field sales role position, promoting a solely distributed rage of power tool accessories, predominantly hole saw, but also jigsaws, drill bits, band saws etc.
• 50% of your time developing approx. 20 existing distributor customer accounts; electrical wholesalers, stockists, DIY retail outlets, hardware stores and other distributors
• 50% new business development, tasked with recruiting circa 5 new distribution partners per annum
• Small amount of time dealing with end users (when selling bandsaw blades to manufacturers)
• Responsible for approx. \xc2\xa3150,000-\xc2\xa3200,000 revenue, tasked with growing this ledger to \xc2\xa3350,000
• Customer accounts vary from \xc2\xa312,000-\xc2\xa360,000 turnover
• Attending trade shows, events held at dealer premises, and visiting end-user\'s sites

The ideal applicant will be a National Account Manager - Power Tool Accessories with:

• Must have sold a related products to power tool accessories such as: power tools , woodwork tools, cutting tools, tools, fixings, fastenings, construction consumables etc.
• Experience of having sold into tools & fixings distributors or electrical wholesalers is preferred
• Awareness of our clients product range or experience within the hand or power tool sector
• Ability to hit ground running, our client is looking for someone to work independently (full product training will be provided)
• Excellent presentation and demonstrating skills
• A practical and professional hands on competent approach
• Excellent organisational / territory planning skills
