Area Sales Manager

Covering: Blackburn, Preston, Lancaster, Bolton, Blackpool & Isle of Man (BB/ PR/ LA/ BL/ FY/ IM)

Do you have demonstrable experience of selling capital equipment / machinery (or materials handling equipment)? Here you will be responsible for increasing market share and market awareness within given areas/postcodes, through sales of a full range of Material Handling Equipment and services. This will include expanding market penetration into new industries and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Sales of Material Handling Equipment.
• Use of the customer/prospect database to develop a sales pipeline and plan activity.
• Develop / prospect new business through a combination of phone and field (f2f) activity.
• Growth of the prospect database.
• Ownership of customer needs.

Person Specification:

• New Business Sales Experience
• Experience of Materials Handling or any other Capital Equipment / Machinery sales
• Ability to work towards set targets.
• Exposure to technical sales is preferred.
• As this role requires travel, a full UK Driving License is required.
