Location: Hamilton Based - Travelling daily, covering Scotland Wide.
You must have the availability to travel daily and stay over if required - Full UK driving licence.
We're looking for an ambitious, field sales driven, ambitious, Area Sales Manager to join our successful GB Sales team at Portakabin in Scotland. You will be based from the Hamilton office, you can work from home some days (once fully trained) however the travel will be daily across Scotland Wide.
As an Area Sales Manager you will maximise the area sales turnover of SMB and small modular projects for both new and refurbished buildings, working with existing and new customers through a combination of reactive and pro-active approaches.
You will develop and promote the company's sales business, to include our full range of products and services. The role is target driven and the key focus is on order winning activity.
To be successful in this role you will be an exceptionally ambitious, field sales expert with a passion and drive to develop the opportunities and sales within the Scotland region. You will thrive off being on the road, going to meet customers and will have had an extensive and exciting career journey with field sales.
Role Responsibilities
oAchieve set targets for sales within area.
oWork within a set of agree KPI's for example visit and order numbers.
oPlan sales coverage of the area to ensure that all customers are contacted at the required frequency.
oIdentify and develop new business opportunities and sectors.
oAssume account management responsibilities with nominated clients to ensure key relationships are developed and maintained.
oWork closely with the Marketing Team to actively exploit the sector and client research information provided.
oEnsure information is kept up to date on CRM system.
oResponds quickly to the needs of an audience and to their reactions and feedback
Essential Criteria for the Area Sales Manager - Please only apply if you have the required experience.
We are looking for someone who has:
oSubstantial face to face technical sales experience (business to business).
oUsed to working in a face paced and demanding environment.
oExperience in developing and maintaining successful client relationships.
oYou will have a forward-thinking approach and a clear vision to succeed.
oThe strong ability to sell based on relationships and the quality of the product.
oSuccessful delivery against sales targets and KPIs.
oBe a strong communicator, organised, work with accuracy, attention to detail, have a strong teamwork ethic.
oThe availability to travel daily and stay over - Full UK driving licence.
oStrong experience of carrying out business development activities
oCoping with Pressure & Setbacks
oWorking experience using MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams & Zoom
