You know how to position these products with clarity and confidence, showing how they provide flexibility, accessibility, and peace of mind. Your ability to champion and integrate these options into the sales journey will be key to your success.


You will be a confident, commercial leader with a proven track record in sales management - someone who balances performance with people, bringing energy, discipline, and ambition to everything you do.

Your Impact




As an Area Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of multiple developments. You will coach, motivate, and lead a talented team of Sales Consultants to achieve ambitious sales targets - all while delivering an outstanding customer journey from first enquiry to full occupancy.


A key part of your impact will be driving awareness and adoption of Older Persons Shared Ownership schemes, ensuring customers fully understand the flexibility and security these options provide. By embedding these products into the sales journey, you will unlock new opportunities, broaden accessibility, and support more people in making the move into retirement living.


You will lead with clarity, energy, and precision, setting the standard at every stage. Working closely with Construction, Development, Marketing, and Your McCarthy Stone teams, you will ensure seamless collaboration and flawless delivery.


You will take ownership of site presentation, pricing packs, and marketing materials - making sure every detail reflects our brand and lifestyle promise. From standout events that spark engagement to day-to-day sales excellence, you will not just be meeting targets - you will be setting the benchmark.

Your Attributes



Sales Leadership

: Proven track record of leading, managing and coaching a high performing Sales Teams and delivering target driven results

CRM & Systems Expertise:

Deep understanding of Salesforce (or similar CRM) and data-led decision-making

Collaborative Communicator:

Confident engaging with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels, including Sales, Marketing, Services and Build.
