As an Area Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving business sales in the designated regions. Your primary responsibilities will include leading canvassing activities, managing key accounts, and ensuring the proactive management of the Opportunity Pipeline. By collaborating closely with the General Manager, and Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in securing large contracts and expanding our market presence.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate canvassing efforts to identify potential clients and business opportunities in Tunbridge Wells, Aylesford, Orpington, Herne Bay and surrounding areas.
Manage and nurture key accounts to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty to our services, acting as a primary point of contact.
Develop and maintain a strong Opportunity Pipeline, managing branches in their use of our CRM system.
Collaborate with the General Manager and Commercial Manager to strategise and execute plans for winning large contracts and expanding market share.
Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to the leadership team.
Attend networking opportunities to represent the company and build valuable relationships.
What we are looking for
:
Proven track record of success in B2B sales and account management, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with diverse client groups.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, coupled with the ability to navigate complex sales.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Skilled in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed within the designated areas.
