Role Overview:

As our Area Sales Manager, you'll lead sales efforts in a defined geographic area, combining strategic planning with fieldwork. You'll engage with customers at agricultural shows, conduct product demonstrations, and ensure exceptional service through effective customer management. Some travel may be required to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

Drive sales of our innovative self-propelled crop sprayers, focusing on both new and used models.

Customer Relations:

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing expert advice on product usage.

Goal-Driven:

Work towards and surpass sales targets with meticulous planning and execution.

Quotations and Orders:

Provide accurate quotes and manage orders efficiently.

Industry Presence:

Represent Househam Sprayers Ltd at trade shows and customer visits.

Product Demonstrations:

Coordinate and conduct effective machine demonstrations in collaboration with senior management.

Trade-Ins:

Facilitate trade-ins by providing detailed specifications and information.

Essential Skills:

Agricultural Expertise:

Solid understanding of agricultural practices and machinery.

Sales Experience:

Proven track record in sales, driven by achieving targets.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with GPS and Precision Ag technology.

Self-Motivated:

Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective Communication:

Strong interpersonal skills for both face-to-face and digital interactions.

Driving Requirements:

Possess a valid UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills:

Industry Knowledge:

Understanding of agronomy and farming practices.

Machinery Operation:

Competence in operating agricultural machinery for effective demonstrations.

Training Orientation:

Willingness to learn and develop sales skills and product knowledge.

Certifications:

Advantageous to have PA1 & PA2 certifications.
