As part of the company's growth and development, a full-time vacancy has arisen for a Area Sales Representative at our Scunthorpe branch. This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of a successful, local family run business that provides excellent all-round service throughout East Riding, North Yorkshire and Lincolnshire
If you're experienced in external sales and passionate about working with builder's merchants and trade professionals, this could be your next step.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage and support a portfolio of key accounts, helping them grow their businesses with us. Develop new trade accounts and proactively win projects from prospective clients. Analyse sales figures weekly to identify trends and opportunities. Lead on pricing and tender responses, particularly for sand and brick products. Work closely with our internal sales support and other departments to ensure excellent service delivery.
What We're Looking For:
Proven sales experience in the building materials industry . Confident communicator - you're persuasive, personable, and great at building relationships. Self-motivated with a commercial mindset and a proactive approach to business development. Ability to spot market trends and adapt to changing demands. Full UK driving licence (essential).
