Summary
To work with existing the Marketing, Sales and Customer Service team to develop a customer focussed relationship with Vets & Merchants.
To build relationships across the business internally
To become a key point of contact for designated customers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Independent and Corporate Vet Practices plus Agricultural Merchants within the designated sales territory.
To collaborate with other business functions to provide insight into the customers to facilitate profitable growth.
Responsibilities
a) Job role
Deliver on the agreed sales and marketing strategy to hit budgetary targets for turnover and profitability in the territory.
Feedback business intelligence to help head of sales and marketing plan future strategy for increased turnover and profitability.
Track all sales activities and prospects in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
Identify and bring business development opportunities to the table.

Sales versus target in territory
Net Profitability
Timely accurate records within CRM system
Customer feedback based on annual survey
Requirements
Building long term relationships with corporate practices, independent practices and agricultural merchants.
Self-starter with high motivation as working remotely a lot of the time.
Proven track record in a similar role or having worked in the veterinary/agricultural sector.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas in a service centred business.
Experience of effective call planning, execution and recording in CRM system.
Good understanding of the relationships between cost management and service delivery
