A Southall-based three-form entry Primary School is seeking an ARP Teacher to support its students from September 2025.
Responsibilities as an ARP Teacher:
Design and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that are highly differentiated to meet individual EHCP targets.
Apply autism-specific approaches such as TEACCH, PECS, and the use of visual timetables.
Support pupils in developing communication skills, social understanding, and strategies for emotional regulation.
Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, therapists, and external agencies to ensure a holistic and inclusive learning environment.
Establish strong partnerships with parents and carers, encouraging active involvement in their child's education.
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teachers (QTS) with experience in SEND and/or Additional Resourced Provisions (ARPs).
A genuine passion for inclusion, emotional well-being, and the use of evidence-based interventions.
Early Career Teachers with strong SEND placement experience and a proactive attitude towards learning within a supportive and experienced team.
