Duties

Plan and organise engaging art and craft activities suitable for various age groups and skill levels Assist participants in selecting appropriate materials and techniques for their projects Demonstrate different art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media Supervise and support participants throughout their creative process, ensuring safety and encouragement Maintain a well-organised workspace, including preparing materials and cleaning up after sessions Encourage individual expression while promoting teamwork and collaborative projects Keep up-to-date with current art trends and incorporate innovative ideas into activities Document progress through photographs or portfolios to showcase participants' work

Experience

Previous experience in art or craft instruction or related educational roles is desirable but not essential Strong knowledge of various art mediums, techniques, and materials Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan diverse activities effectively Good communication skills to motivate and engage participants of all ages Creative mindset with the ability to adapt activities based on participants' interests and abilities A genuine passion for arts and crafts, along with patience and enthusiasm for teaching others
