Job Title: GCSE Art & Design Tutor
Location: Eltham, London
Pay Rate: 25-35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours
This role is perfect for a teacher or tutor who can bring art theory and practical skills to life, adapting sessions to suit each student's learning style while boosting both their technical ability and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging one-to-one small group tuition in GCSE Art & Design.
- Support students in developing their creative portfolio, refining practical skills, and strengthening theoretical knowledge.
- Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs, including students with SEN.
- Provide constructive feedback and strategies to help learners gain confidence and meet their targets.
- Track progress and liaise with families or the wider educational team where appropriate.
- Minimum 1 year teaching or tutoring experience in Art & Design (GCSE or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE Art & Design curriculum, assessment objectives, and portfolio requirements.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
- QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience supporting students with SEN or additional needs.
- Ability to incorporate digital media and contemporary practices into sessions.
