About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art and DT Teacher to join our client school who has a very supportive team. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging lessons across subjects such as Art and DT, fostering curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that stretch and challenge all learners, ensuring outstanding progress for every student.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and well-structured Art and DT lessons across KS3-KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
Plan, assess, and report in line with school policies
Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support whole-school initiatives and enrichment opportunities
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Degree in a relevant Art or Dt subject
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching
Commitment to high expectations and continuous improvement
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
