We are seeking a reliable, motivated and passionate teacher to deliver a fun Art Camp over the Christmas Holidays in Erith as part of the Bexley HAF Programme, which provides free meals and activities for children in the area. You will be responsible for managing the site, whilst teaching and providing support to the children, alongside a junior assistant.
There will be lots of opportunities throughout the academic year to work at various other camps and primary school after school clubs as we branch out into other schools across London!
Duties
- Host the camp and manage other staff members. Schedule, training and materials will be provided for you beforehand.
- Assist students in understanding the subject materials when needed.
- Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential.
- Dismiss the children and leave the venue in a tidy condition.
Requirements
- A creative/artistic background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Previous club or teaching experience
