About New Ways School




New Ways is an Outstanding Independent SEN School with two locations. Our KS3 students are based at our South Birmingham site (B38), while KS4 and KS5 students attend our college site in North Worcestershire (B60).


We cater to students aged 11-19 with special educational needs, primarily related to Autism.


Our school provides a safe, low-sensory environment alongside an ambitious curriculum that includes a range of GCSEs and enrichment opportunities.


We are committed to ensuring that all students achieve the best possible outcomes and are fully prepared for their transition into further education, employment, training, and adulthood.

Key Responsibilities



Plan and teach Art lessons Support each pupil's learning with personalised lessons Help students when needed and encourage them to explore topics on their own Get materials ready, show students how to use them safely, and make sure equipment is looked after

Requirements



A strong commitment and passion for working with students with SEND At least 2 years of experience in a SEND setting or similar provision QTS or QTLS is a bonus Full UK Drivers Licence
