Art Director
We are looking for an experienced and talented Art Director to join our creative team to concept and art direct creative concepts across a range of global marketing B2B campaigns and program initiatives. About the Team
The Art Director is tasked with developing and progressing the visual identity for our growing product portfolio and initiatives at Rapid7. This multi-disciplined person should be detail-oriented with a strong eye for design, a keen understanding of adopting brand style guidelines, and a passion for creative storytelling. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with copywriters on ideas and developing content across a range of channels. Combining all these talents, this person will help deliver creative and innovative solutions to client problems by producing compelling experiences across all channels from video, digital, social, events, and more. About the Role
You will report to the Senior Creative Services Manager who oversees all design and art direction for the brand. In this role, you will:

• Reinvigorate the Rapid7 brand through bold and creative visual storytelling to deeply connect with our growing global audience
• Work with the Creative Director and Senior Creative Services Manager to develop and evolve the look and attitude of our brand and to maintain a consistent brand identity across all business units and product offering
• Partner with Copywriters on specific projects and work closely with Project Managers, Content Strategists, digital strategy, and media teams internally and externally to develop 360 campaigns to individual tactic based assignments
• Create impactful, customer-centric experiences from start to finish: concept, art direct/design, and execute
• Design and build cross-channel content for digital, social media, email, and landing pages where needed, including static assets, motion graphic videos, animated GIFs, etc.
• Capture and art direct photo and video content with a point of view on color correction that matches a predefined visual style, look, and feel that has been approved by your Manager and Creative Director

The skills you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring include:

• A minimum of a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in design, video/audio production, or related multimedia
• A strong eye for art direction and design with a strong sense of color, topography, iconography, and composition
• Proficient in the entire Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
• Video experience working with Directors and production companies to bring ideas to life
• Must be an efficient \xe2\x80\x9cself-starter\xe2\x80\x9d that is able to take direction and execute things well and independently
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to use data to inform creative and development decisions
• Senior-level expertise to balance multiple projects at a high-quality level
• 5+ years of experience of art directing
• External creative agency experience is required
• Experience in-house at a b2b business is a plus
• Portfolio required for interview
