Description
We are looking for an ambitious & creative Art Director who enjoys working in an energetic environment and loves the challenge of discovering what makes consumers "click". You will collaborate with a design-savvy team to devise an overall concept & translate marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate audiences for our award-winning British skincare brand.
Key Responsibilities

• Generate clear ideas and concepts in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Produce moodboards, mockups and storyboards to visualise ideas.
• Concept, plan & art direct stills and video shoots end-to-end, with support from the production and project management teams.
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience, paying specific attention to the brief end goal - showcasing a thorough understanding of where the content is going to be used, maximising its usability and impact.
• Collaborate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media.
• Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
• Present concepts and ideas to the wider team, and on occasion senior stakeholders.
• Stay on top of latest trends within the luxury beauty, fashion and lifestyle space, and maintain best practices.
• Be a brand guardian and ensure all content produced is adhering to the wider visual identity of the ELEMIS brand.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience as Art Director ideally in Beauty, Luxury or Fashion, covering both stills and video production, and social media content.
• Best practice pre- and post-production knowledge with significant experience directing retouchers and video editors to achieve final desired outputs.
• Hands on experience with a variety of design disciplines - pairing typography with visuals, colour theory, social media, digital design, print design and image selection. Motion, animation and packaging design a bonus.
• Proficient use of Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator. Premiere Pro and After Effects a bonus.
• A visually strong portfolio, demonstrating a clear understanding of visual design principles, harmonies between imagery and type, with focus on projects where the candidate has led art direction end-to-end.
• Have an open minded and curious personality, with a desire to improve and grow wherever possible.
• A great team player, with the ability to incorporate feedback.
• A strong and clear communicator with confident presentation skills.
