to run after-school clubs at a primary school inCheltenham
. These roles provide an opportunity to inspire children to explore their creativity, develop artistic and writing skills, and enjoy expressing themselves in a supportive and engaging environment.The
Art Club
andCreative Writing Club
each runonce a week for 1 hour
(after-school, day(s) to be confirmed).Key Responsibilities
Lead and engage small groups of primary-aged children in art or creative writing activities. Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate sessions that encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression. Foster confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment in children's learning and creative work. Maintain clear communication with parents and school staff regarding children's progress. Ensure the activity space, materials, and resources are safe, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience working with children in schools, clubs, or childcare settings. Ability to motivate and engage children in a structured yet enjoyable way. Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and school staff. A background in art, creative writing, teaching, or education is desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
Work Location: In person
