Art Teacher
Pay: 130-170 per day
Full-time/ Term Time only
Waltham Forest, North London
Are you a creative, passionate, and resilient Art Teacher looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people? We have a great SEN school seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join our team and inspire pupils with a wide range of additional needs-including autism, complex learning difficulties, communication needs, and SEMH.
Art Teacher Role: * Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with diverse needs

Create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring classroom environment
Use visual aids, sensory resources, and creative teaching strategies
Work closely with therapists, TAs, and the wider SEN team
Celebrate pupil progress through exhibitions, displays, and creative projects
Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

Art Teacher Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Passionate about inclusive teaching and creative learning
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
Skilled at differentiating work for varying abilities
Confident working with pupils with complex needs
Able to build positive, supportive relationships with students and staff
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
