Job Description

This Grammar School is seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher (ECT) to join its successful department from January 2026.
Art Teacher (ECT) required from January 2026.
Ofsted Outstanding Grammar School with excellent academic outcomes and a strong creative ethos.
Seeking an ECT to teach Art across KS3 and KS4, supported by experienced colleagues and structured mentoring.
You will teach Art and Design, developing students' technical skills in drawing, painting, and mixed media, while supporting coursework and creative projects. The department offers strong guidance throughout the ECT years.
Experience and Qualifications
QTS or pending QTS
Degree in Art or related creative discipline
Passion for creative education
Willingness to learn and develop classroom practice
