Job Description
An enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Haringey. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their artistic skills, creativity, and appreciation for a variety of art forms.Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop students' skills in a range of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Art, providing constructive feedback to guide their development.
- Contribute to the enrichment of the school's artistic environment through displays, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art and Design.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Art at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines and historical contexts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering a love of art in students.
- Inner London Payscale.
- Supportive and collaborative Arts department within an Outstanding school setting.
