A prestigious independent day and boarding school in Salisbury is seeking an imaginative and skilled Art Teacher to join their Visual Arts Department from January 2026. The school has 1,000 pupils aged 11-18, including a Sixth Form of 300. About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent role teaching Art & Design across KS3-KS5. The appointed teacher will encourage creative independence, helping students to refine their artistic voice through exploration of painting, sculpture, photography, and digital design. You will oversee GCSE and A-Level portfolio development and contribute to annual exhibitions and collaborative art projects.
The school encourages cross-disciplinary teaching, and the department regularly works with Drama and English on creative projects. Teachers have access to large studio spaces, a Mac suite, ceramics studio, and printmaking facilities.

Experience and Qualifications

• QTS/PGCE and degree in Art & Design or Fine Art
• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level desirable
• Strong creative portfolio and practical teaching skills
