Contract Type: Full-Time (Temporary)
Salary: 169p/d - 262p/d
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 Art, with some KS3 Technology classes
Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Leeds to recruit a passionate and creative Art Teacher for a full-time role starting in January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department and inspire students through engaging and imaginative lessons.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality Art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Teach some KS3 Technology classes as part of the timetable.
- Plan and prepare lessons that foster creativity and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
- A welcoming and inclusive secondary school with a strong focus on the arts.
- Supportive leadership and a collaborative teaching environment.
- Well-equipped Art and Technology facilities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
- Confidence teaching KS3 Technology is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for the arts and education.
