Key Responsibilities



Teach

Art and Design

to

Year 2 and Year 3

pupils in an engaging and structured way. Encourage students to explore a variety of

art media, tools, and techniques

. Foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence in young learners. Create a

stimulating classroom environment

that supports individual artistic growth. Encourage students to take creative risks and express their individuality through art. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support

cross-curricular projects

. Contribute to the school's

extracurricular activities

,

art exhibitions

, and

community initiatives

.

Qualifications & Skills



Required:



Proven experience teaching

Art and Design

within

primary education

. Strong knowledge of the

Art and Design curriculum

and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent classroom management and lesson planning skills. Commitment to inspiring creativity and fostering a positive learning environment.

Preferred:



Experience working in a

preparatory or independent school setting

, particularly with boys. Understanding of

inclusive teaching practices

. Interest in contributing to

extracurricular and community-based art initiatives

. Familiarity with both

digital and traditional art techniques

Pay: 29,000.00-37,000.00 per year
