Salary: 155 - 220 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a talented and dedicated Art Teacher to join schools in Sheffield.
About the Role:
As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills. You will guide students through a range of artistic techniques and media while supporting their academic progress and personal expression.
Responsibilities of an Art Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic Art lessons in line with the curriculum across key stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Inspire creativity and encourage students to express themselves through different artistic mediums.
• Assess, record, and report on students' progress.
• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that celebrates artistic achievement.
• Encourage students to develop critical appreciation and understanding of art and culture.
• Participate in school events, exhibitions, and extra-curricular activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the overall development of the department.

Art Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching Art in schools.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the arts.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students across key stages.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
