Job Title: Art Teacher

Pay Rate: 155 - 220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time
Are you an imaginative Art Teacher eager to motivate pupils to explore their creativity and develop essential art skills?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join schools in the Sheffield area. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, nurture creativity, and support pupils in building confidence and expression through a variety of artistic mediums.
Responsibilities as an Art Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting Art lessons across Key Stages.
• Inspire pupils to explore creativity and develop their skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other media.
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages artistic expression and self-confidence.
• Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to raising attainment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative teaching strategies and resources.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour, organisation, and safeguarding.

Requirements for Art Teacher:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Strong subject knowledge in Art and Design is desirable.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
• A genuine passion for inspiring creativity in young people.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
