Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto 220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Encourage creativity and help students express ideas through colour, texture, and imagination.
GSL Education are pleased to recruit an Art Teacher to work with schools in the Sheffield (S2, S3) area, inspiring pupils to develop artistic skills and confidence through practical learning.
In this role, the Art Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of artistic mediums, fostering creativity within a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Duties:

Plan and deliver structured art lessons in line with the curriculum.
Support pupils in developing techniques and expressing ideas visually.
Maintain a safe, inspiring, and focused learning atmosphere.
Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback as Art Teacher.
Collaborate with colleagues to support wider arts initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching art in a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management, creativity, and communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
