About Somerset Progressive School
Somerset Progressive School offers a calm, rural setting where pupils aged 7-19 with SEND, including Autism, receive personalised education and 1:1 or small group support.
In 2019, we proudly won the Positive Behaviour Support Award-recognising our commitment to creating a supportive, uplifting environment for every learner.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach Art lessons
• Support each pupil's learning with personalised lessons
• Help students when needed and encourage them to explore topics on their own
• Get materials ready, show students how to use them safely, and make sure equipment is looked after

Requirements

• A strong commitment and passion for working with students with SEND
• At least 2 years of experience in a SEND setting or similar provision
• QTS or QTLS is a bonus
• Full UK Drivers Licence
