The Role
You will teach Art & Design across Key Stages 3-5, delivering a stimulating curriculum that promotes both technical skill and creative thinking. Lessons are designed to encourage experimentation with diverse media -- including fine art, digital design, ceramics, and photography -- supported by state-of-the-art facilities. You will guide students in developing strong portfolios for GCSE and A-Level, fostering their individual artistic identities and preparing many for further study in creative disciplines.
Beyond teaching, you will play an active role in the wider school community through art exhibitions, workshops, and collaborations with local galleries and artists. The department's annual showcase and art festival are highlights of the school year, reflecting the department's passion for creativity and excellence.

What We're Looking For
Qualified Art & Design Teacher (QTS/PGCE or equivalent)
Strong portfolio and deep understanding of creative practice
Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Art & Design
Enthusiasm for fostering creativity, independence, and confidence in learners
Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular and cross-curricular arts activities
