A creative and forward-thinking 11-18 school in Salisbury is seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join their vibrant Visual Arts Department from January 2026. About the Role
The appointed teacher will deliver Art & Design across KS3-KS5, nurturing students' technical and creative abilities through diverse media including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and digital design. You will guide students through GCSE and A-Level coursework, supporting them in developing strong portfolios that reflect originality and skill.
You will also play a key role in school exhibitions, art showcases, and local gallery partnerships, inspiring creativity beyond the classroom. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute to cross-curricular projects and community art initiatives, reinforcing the importance of visual storytelling and creative expression.

Experience and Qualifications

• QTS/PGCE and a degree in Art & Design or a related field
• A strong creative portfolio showcasing artistic versatility
• Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Art desirable
• Commitment to fostering creativity and confidence in students
