Art Teacher - Stoke-on-Trent - ASAP Start - Ongoing Opportunities
Do you love helping students express themselves through creativity, experimentation and visual arts?
Academics are recruiting Art Teachers on behalf of a network of secondary schools across the Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire area.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver inspiring Art & Design lessons to KS3 & KS4 classes.
- Encourage experimentation and exploration across various artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
- Support students preparing for GCSE coursework.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students reach their full potential.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment where students feel empowered to express themselves creatively.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art & Design - essential.
- Strong portfolio or background in creative practice.
- Experience teaching Art at a secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Ability to inspire students with varied artistic abilities.
- Confident in behaviour and classroom management.
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply.
- Competitive daily rates of 140-160, paid to you weekly (dependent on experience & client rate).
- A range of long-term, contract and short-term roles to suit you.
