Job Advertisement: Art Teacher (SEMH School)

Contract: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm

The Role:

• Teach Art across the secondary curriculum, adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
• Create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
• Develop strong relationships with students, helping them break down barriers to education.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies.
• Work collaboratively with the school team to support each student's holistic development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in SEMH or similar specialist settings.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• A passion for engaging students through creative arts.
• The ability to build trust and rapport with vulnerable students.
• Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
