Are you an experienced Art teacher looking to take your career to the next level? A fantastic Art teacher vacancy has come up at one of our well established secondary schools on the outskirts of Leeds city centre. The school pride themselves on making sure the students fulfil their academic potential, the students are very ambitious and many aspire to become school leaders when they are older. Recent Ofsted reports have rated the school as "good" overall.
This Art teacher role will be starting immediately and will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a direct contract from September 2025.
Responsibilities as an Art teacher:
- Planning and delivering lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
- Track student's progression and provide constructive feedback to help them develop their artistic skills.
- Share ideas with other members in the Art department in order to develop the curriculum.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment

Requirements for the Art teacher role:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Right to work in the UK
- A relevant qualification related to Art
- Behaviour management skills with the ability to control the classroom
- A depth of knowledge within Art
