A thriving secondary school in Cambridge is seeking a highly organised, creative, and committed Art Technician to join their Visual Arts department immediately. About the Role
The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality Art lessons across KS3-KS5, ensuring that all materials, equipment, and learning spaces are prepared efficiently and maintained to a high professional standard. The role involves assisting with the preparation of resources, mounting and displaying student work, maintaining stock levels, supporting students with practical projects, and helping to create inspiring classroom environments.
You will work closely with the Head of Art to ensure the smooth running of daily lessons, practical workshops, GCSE coursework processes, and school exhibitions. The ideal applicant will be proactive, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

What the School is Looking For
A practical, organised, and reliable Art Technician
Creative skills in at least one discipline: drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, or digital arts
Ability to prepare resources independently and manage multiple tasks
Strong communication skills and willingness to support students when required
Experience in a school or creative studio environment (preferred, not essential)
Salary
Competitive, dependent on experience. Term-time only.
