Job Description

A vibrant and creative secondary school in Haringey is seeking an enthusiastic Art Technician to provide high-quality support across the Art & Design department from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with an artistic background, excellent organisational skills and the ability to contribute to a thriving creative environment.
Art Technician required from January 2026
Haringey-based school with strong Creative Arts provision and dedicated studio spaces.
You will support KS3-KS5 Art, including Fine Art, Textiles, Graphic Design and Photography.
The role includes preparing materials, maintaining equipment, supporting workshops and organising displays.
Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience within an Art or Design environment (education or professional).
  • Strong practical skills in materials preparation, tool handling and studio organisation.
  • Confidence supporting Photography equipment, including lighting, cameras and printing (training available).
  • Ability to manage stock, monitor resources and maintain clean and safe studio environments.
  • Flexible, creative and proactive approach to supporting students and teachers.
