The Art Technician will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in the preparation, organisation and delivery of high-quality Art lessons. You will manage materials, maintain equipment, prepare resources for practical work and assist with exhibitions and displays.
This role suits an individual with a strong interest in Art, practical skills across media such as paint, clay, textiles or printmaking, and a desire to contribute to a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing materials and resources for art lessons
- Maintaining equipment including kilns, print presses and digital tools
- Organising storage of materials and student work
- Supporting teachers with practical demonstrations when appropriate
- Assisting with art exhibitions, displays and portfolio preparation
- Monitoring stock and ordering supplies
- Practical experience in Art or creative industries
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with a range of art materials and tools
- Enthusiasm for supporting young artists
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
