A high-performing secondary school in Watford is seeking to appoint a dedicated and organised Art Technician for an immediate start. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity within a well-resourced and highly respected Art department, with the potential for permanent appointment.

The Role
As Art Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning by:
Preparing specialist materials and equipment for practical lessons
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of all Art rooms and storage areas
Managing stock control, ordering, and budgeting for materials
Supporting students during practical activities where required
Assisting with coursework moderation preparation
Supporting with departmental events, exhibitions, and open evenings
Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed at all times
Maintaining specialist equipment and tools
You will work closely with teachers to ensure all lessons run smoothly and safely.

Have experience as an Art Technician or within a creative/workshop environment
