Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, fun Art Tutor to join us in running after-school art classes in the Worsley area.

Initially the role is for just 2 hours a week 2.45-4.45pm 1 afternoons. However we are continually adding schools to our client base and run regular seasonal workshops so there is potential for more hours for the right candidate.

This post would suit an Art & Design graduate who is enthusiastic about creativity with children.

Applicants will be experienced and interested in multiple art disciplines; enjoy working with small groups of primary school aged children; and able to create a nurturing, fun environment for creative exploration and learning.

An experience of teaching or working with children is essential to this role.

It is also essential that you can drive and have access to your own car.

An education in Art & Design (either Foundation in Art & Design, Art & Design Degree or Diploma) and teaching qualifications or experience is desirable.

All curriculum is planned in advance, training and materials provided. The Art Tutor role will be to attend schools and facilitate a workshop.

This would suit someone looking top up existing work hours in an area of passion - Art.
